What are the requirements of photo image files that are uploaded?
Picturoo.com currently accepts JPEG (.jpg) files only.
This is the typical file type generated by digital cameras.
Other file types will not be accepted by our system.
The minimum requirement for images is at least 1 mega-pixel resolution, for a decent photo card result.
However, if you intend to crop the photo (i.e. for the purposes of zooming in on a face), you should consider at least 2 mega-pixels or better for decent results.
Zooming in on a 1 mega-pixel image will likely produce a grainy image.
Keep in mind that the larger the mega-pixels, the longer it takes to upload the photo.
What can I do to achieve better photo card results?
Generally, it is best to use brighter photos.
Photos taken outdoors under sunlight work best.
Darker photos will tend to look extra dark in contrast to vibrant colors of some of our design templates. Color and brightness adjustments should be done prior to uploading the photo.
Cards generally look better if you zoom in on faces, attempting to maximize the size of the subject(s) face(s).
Keep in mind that the cards are the size of credit cards, so smaller subjects will seem extra small on the actual printed photo card.
Picturoo.com website allows you to easily zoom in on subjects as necessary.
How durable are the Photo Cards?
Picturoo photo cards are about the same quality of a standard credit card.
Much more durable than photo paper prints, Picturoo cards are long lasting, scratch resistant and water resistant.
What are the dimensions of the Photo Card?
